Based on the book Culture Town: Life in Raleigh's African American Communities and other bibliographic sources, my creative team researched a location in downtown Raleigh connected with African American history. We took site documentation photos of the space using panorama and photomontage, observed and documented the space, emphasizing details and user behaviors and activities, and developed a guided tour of the space. We used a simplified concept map to organize written interpretation and ‘lo-fi’ wireframes to develop a storyboarded guided tour app.
